Hotel
You will enter a historic building from 1900 with a richly articulated façade, the original staircase, vaults on the ground floor and small balconies in the "Bel Etage". The thick brick walls and the high-ceilinged rooms, together with the simple but homely furnishings, create a particularly pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was extensively restored inside and out between 2020 and 2024.
Hotel Moráň is located in the centre of Prague, close to the Vltava River and Charles Square. Most of Prague's stunning sights are within walking distance. Metro and tram stops are just a few metres from the hotel.
Our passion for art and literature is reflected in the hotel's interior, which is decorated with works by an artist inspired by Franz Kafka. In the lobby we have prepared a book box for you, where you can borrow or buy literature about Prague and Prague artists.
We are committed to the philosophy of sustainability and eco-friendliness and are proud to be the first eco-friendly hotel in Prague to be awarded the EU eco-label.

ART AND LITERATURE
The artist Sylva Pauli, who lives in Prague and Vienna, was inspired by Franz Kafka's aphorisms to create sculptural and graphic exhibits, some of which now adorn the interiors of our hotel. In addition, we have prepared a small library where you can borrow or buy literature about Prague, Prague artists, Czech cuisine, art and sustainability.
MoreALONG THE RIVER FULL OF STORIES
Beautiful buildings tell their interesting history and stories about their owners. Take a walk along the Vltava River to get to know these fascinating sides of Prague. Bridges are always a symbol of connection. As a host to so many different people, we particularly like this symbolism, so you will find pictures of Prague's bridges as decoration in the corridors of our hotel.
MoreENTERTAINMENT AND SURROUNDINGS
In the immediate and wider vicinity of the hotel you will find a wide range of restaurants of all tastes, scents and flavors. We give a few tips that will satisfy both more demanding gourmets and lovers of folk pubs. Treat yourself to a typical Czech lunch, a delicious romantic dinner, or maybe just a glass of well-brewed, fresh Czech beer at a stall.
